Kimberism: There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million. - Walt Streightiff Children innately live from their hearts. Sadly this trait has often been ignored and even rejected by adults for what is perceived as maturity and wisdom. Have we fallen for the big illusion?
What if children were on to something--actually had the right perspective about life? While adults were the ones who got us booted out of Paradise for eating from the wrong tree, children seem to still be running freely in the Garden, living from their hearts.
The wonder of children is that they don't get bogged down by linear thinking, or the trap of abandoning their heart for dutifully following their head. Maybe we could learn something! What if we could see past striving and the illusion that we had to figure it all out? Would we find ourselves experiencing more of paradise in the here and now?
Have you veered off the road for the dangling apple that has you working overtime to figure out your life and circumstances? Did the idea of playing, hanging out and receiving the bounty of life vanish with your youth?
Imagine what your world would look like if instead of living from your head you were living from the perspective of a reconciled heart. If you could give up the illusion of your own hard earned effort would you welcome like a child the gift of romping and frolicking through life?
